Dear viewers namastey how have you been? Having great time..God bless, great time comes with the celebrations of having great people around us. well at least for me his way of seeing things and man on for the every challenge is so very inticing.so for this segment we give you the world famous cyclist and successful everest summitter puskar shah.let’s summit……..
Great seeing you , how have you been?
Hello bro, good to see you too so far I have been lucky so I guess I am fine and blessed..
When did you start your journey around the world?
Umm,i started from November 1998 and finished on august 2009 after doing 220000kms of cycling.(I almost spilled my beer)
How many countries did you go and what was the experience?
I went to one hundred and fifty countries, and talking about the experience, let me tell you bro for that we willing be  needing atleast two barrels of beer ha ……..well u know it was like being on trance every time and u are not getting enough,u know what I mean?different people, different culture.it was all very exciting and life time experience besides being mugged in new York to my undies, almost death experience in mexico where they kidnapped me and took me to the desert.lost my cycle, and got a new one at Switzerland from sir Edmund Hillary for which I am indebt all my life for his generosity and kindness, countless hungry nights, sleeping in the jungles, deserts, not being able to communicate, being haressed, but nevertheless I was the messenger of peace and that was the small price I had to pay for the peace so yeah .. it was a adventure….
I have met and seen people who in their life has never even been to the neighbor village and you went all way around the world, how did you came up with that idea?
I think it was the determination and some dose of crazyness for me cause neither I had that much experience nor money, let me tell you when i embarked for my journey my mother gave me one hundred rupee.100 rs for the world trip, how cool is that?so yeah it was in my karma and I was destined to do it i guess.
Alright coming back to your next venture that was summitting MOUNT EVEREST,how did that happen?
To summit everest is the most challenging and most noble feat for any human kind,so after the world trip my plan was to summit everest carrying the flags of hundred and nintytwo different countries and my cycle tyre.

And what about the climb, how was it?
ohh man,if i have to choose between world trip and summitting everest I’ll choose world trip. Every time u are literally cheating death.the higher you go the less of oxygen and I couldn’t do it for three days,I was suffering from altitude sickness.after I recovered then started my ascend. On the way to blue ice was deadly.it had very steep slope, and ice axe and boots were not grasping it properly, cause there was less snow.ascending took us thirteen hour and ten minutes.we reached around ten thirty,we were climbing for whole night with empty stomach because up there u don’t feel like eating, surviving on soup and water was very hard.that day around ninty two people successfully summitted the everest and we were the last group.we stayed for half and hour, then start to desend back.u know you have this feeling all time that you are going to die,I know that the ropes were incredibally strong and only way out from the rope is to cut it down but still every second that feeling is creeping in and you would go crazy.and while coming down I helped three climbers by giving them my oxygen and to one Korean climber thinking my camp was near not realizing it was still fifty meter down,I nearly died and one of my cameraman didn’t make to the top,he backed down at the last hundred meters,so yeah every step was deadly and was thinking every time that i am going to die.I know that the rope were extremely strong and getting out from that was to cut it,then even that sickening feeling use to creep in every second.
You mentioned about the camp, how was it?and I heard that u had a ghost scare?
They had total of four camps, starting from base camp to summit.camp third and four were situated at the most difficult place to rescue, only a handful trained pilots can pull out.And for the ghost scare it is true.outside the camp was a body of a western woman,I think it has been there for may be thirty to forty years,u know some unlucky climber.we saw it because the snow was melted and it was exposed.for the whole night, some one was walking in circles all around and right in front of our tent.So it was scary..Anyways let me tell u about the celebrations story.when our group who was waiting at the camp knew about our successful climb.they start celebrating by putting flour at each other face because they didn’t have the vermillon powder, and next morning we were hungry because there was no flour left to make the bread..ha ha..
A very adventurous trip I must say,(in between he received a call from his friend telling him that he was to be awarded a very prestigious medal from the president)congratulating him I asked if he wanted to say something to our respected viewers and this was in typical puskar style:baru sansar chaakar katna sajilo, sagarmatha chadna sarai garo bro..
see you soon guys..GOD BLESS……
