The Pushaway
Push the ball out and down while stepping forward with your right foot.
The Pendulum Swing
As you take your second step, let the ball swing down and back. Use your left hand for balance.
The Backswing
With your next step, the ball should be at the top of your back swing, no higher than your shoulder.
The Sliding Step
On the last step, allow the ball to swing down past your left foot. Release the ball and allow your arm to follow through.

On follow through, don’t stop your arm. Let it swing on up!
Keep your left arm extended for balance.

How to hold the ball
There are two basic types of grips used in bowling: conventional grip and fingertip grip. Most bowlers use the conventional grip because it provides a firmer hold with the fingers. The fingertip grip is recommended for the advanced bowler.
